Today's users want user-friendly products and are no longer willing to accept a poor user experience. Therefore, all persons involved in developing software or technical products need basic knowledge of usability and UX. This book prepares you for the Certified Professional for Usability Engineering, User Experience Design Foundation Level (CPUE-FL) exam of the user Experience Quality Certification Center (UXQCC) and ensures exactly this knowledge. In an exciting yet easy-to-understand way, you will learn the basics of successful usability and UX design. Theory and numerous examples from the authors' practice illustrate the content and create an exciting learning experience.}, subject = {Usability}, language = {en} } @article{HolnthonerSzwarc, author = {Holnthoner, Wolfgang and Szwarc, Dorota}, title = {Purinergic P2Y 2 receptors modulate endothelial sprouting}, series = {Cell Mol Life Sci.}, volume = {2020}, journal = {Cell Mol Life Sci.}, number = {Mar.}, pages = {885 -- 901}, abstract = {Purinergic P2 receptors are critical regulators of several functions within the vascular system, including platelet aggregation, vascular inflammation, and vascular tone. However, a role for ATP release and P2Y receptor signalling in angiogenesis remains poorly defined. Here, we demonstrate that blood vessel growth is controlled by P2Y2 receptors. Endothelial sprouting and vascular tube formation were significantly dependent on P2Y2 expression and inhibition of P2Y2 using a selective antagonist blocked microvascular network generation. Mechanistically, overexpression of P2Y2 in endothelial cells induced the expression of the proangiogenic molecules CXCR4, CD34, and angiopoietin-2, while expression of VEGFR-2 was decreased. Interestingly, elevated P2Y2 expression caused constitutive phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and VEGFR-2. However, stimulation of cells with the P2Y2 agonist UTP did not influence sprouting unless P2Y2 was constitutively expressed. Finally, inhibition of VEGFR-2 impaired spontaneous vascular network formation induced by P2Y2 overexpression. Our data suggest that P2Y2 receptors have an essential function in angiogenesis, and that P2Y2 receptors present a therapeutic target to regulate blood vessel growth.}, subject = {Angiogenesis}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{WidhalmGoeschkaKastner, author = {Widhalm, Dominik and Goeschka, Karl M. and Kastner, Wolfgang}, title = {SoK: A Taxonomy for Anomaly Detection in Wireless Sensor Networks focused on Node-level Techniques}, series = {Proceedings of 15th International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES 2020), 25-28 August 2020, Virtual Event, Ireland}, booktitle = {Proceedings of 15th International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES 2020), 25-28 August 2020, Virtual Event, Ireland}, pages = {10}, subject = {anomaly detection}, language = {en} } @article{YalcinHimmelstoss, author = {Yalcin, Faruk and Himmelstoß, Felix}, title = {Buck-type Single-phase AC-AC Active Tracking Voltage Regulator Controlled by an Enhanced Hybrid Control Method}, series = {Sakarya University Journal of Science}, volume = {2021}, journal = {Sakarya University Journal of Science}, number = {25}, pages = {926 -- 937}, subject = {AC-AC regulator}, language = {en} } @article{KrizekLietzeBecketal., author = {Krizek, Gerd Christian and Lietze, Stefanie and Beck, Stefan and Langer, Karin}, title = {Differenzierte Kompetenzmessung mittels eAssessments - Ein Konzept f{\"u}r die Zukunft}, series = {fnma}, journal = {fnma}, subject = {education}, language = {de} }
