This case study examines the use of an augmented reality app in higher education to support abstract STEM content, such as vectors. Based on this example, the implementation of such apps in didactic concepts and self - directed learning will be discussed. Furthermore, aspects of integration into digital learning and teaching will be addressed. N2 - Nach einem Überblick über die Möglichkeiten und den Status von Augmented Reality im Bildungswesen wird ein Good-Practice-Beispiel einer Augmented-Reality-Anwendung vorgestellt. Dieses Fallbeispiel untersucht anhand dieser App die Verwendung von Augmented Reality in der Hochschulbildung zur Unterstützung abstrakter STEM-Inhalte, wie z.B. Vektoren. Mittels dieses Beispiels wird die Implementierung solcher Apps in didaktische Konzepte sowie ihr Nutzen unter dem Gesichtspunkt des selbstgesteuerten Lernens diskutiert. Darüber hinaus werden Aspekte der Einbindung in das digitale Lernen und Lehren adressiert.
